Who is responsible
This site is run by STORE BLINDERN POKER, org.nr 936 041 973, a registered student association at the University of Oslo (registered with Brønnøysundregistrene on 27 August 2025). Our registered purpose is "Studentforening for pokerinteresserte studenter ved UiO". The association is the data controller for everything described on this page, and you reach us at it@storeblindernpoker.org.
Pseudonyms are the only public identity
Everything public on this site (the leaderboard, results, the hall of fame) shows pseudonyms only. Your real name is never displayed anywhere on the site, and we never publish photos that identify individual players.
What we store about members
- Your email address and a password (or a Google sign-in), used only to sign you in. Passwords are handled by our database provider, Supabase, and are never visible to us.
- Your full name, given when you create your account. We keep it, together with your email, for membership records: we are a registered student association, and funding for associations is counted in real members. Only organisers can see it. It is never published, never shown to other members, and never appears anywhere on the public site.
- Your pseudonym and your night-by-night results: check-ins, chip totals and season points. The pseudonym is the only identity we ever show in public.
- Your RSVP for an upcoming night, if you give one. It is stored against your pseudonym, and other signed-in members can see which pseudonyms are going. Anyone who is not signed in sees only a number, never a list of names. You can change or clear your answer at any time.
- Organisers can see which name and email belong to which pseudonym; they need that to fix reporting mistakes and keep the membership records straight. Nobody else can, and this mapping is never exported or published.
What we never store
- No payment details of any kind: we are a points-only club and this site never processes payments.
- No tracking or advertising cookies, and no third-party analytics. The site keeps a little data in your own browser (your session, plus anything you typed that has not reached us yet, like a night report or your name at signup, so flaky wifi loses nothing), and that data stays on your device.
- No location data, no contact lists, nothing scraped from your accounts.
Your data, your call
Want to see what we hold about you, change your pseudonym, or have your account deleted? Ask any organiser on a Friday night or email it@storeblindernpoker.org and it will be handled. Deletion removes your account and unlinks your name and email; past nights stay in the season history under the pseudonym they were played under.
Questions about any of this? Email it@storeblindernpoker.org. A human reads it.
